How AW House runs its serviced offices on WorkHub

Why AW House needed a change

When one of our administrators left, we needed a way to manage the workload without immediately replacing the role.

Meet WorkHub, one central platform designed to simplify the day-to-day management of your workspace.

One central system

Probably bookings, probably tenancy renewals, things like that that take up a massive amount of time have just been streamlined by using it.

People are still nice but this makes life simpler in the fact that I've got all the information at hand, I can dish out tickets, I can...

We've had a tenant this morning come and want tea and coffee for a visitor.

Short notice, I don't actually need to do anything.

I've raised a ticket, the girls have dealt with it, it's done and dusted without me needing to leave my desk.

Less manual administration

Quite a lot of stuff actually.

Bookings, parking, tenancy, all of those took up a huge amount of time and it's reduced the time I need to take on there.

Reduced overheads

It's also just taken some of the mum-brain away.

Does that make sense?

There's 5,000 things going round in your head.

I can check on there.

There's a nice little list.

There's a list of scheduled tasks.

There's operational stuff that need doing.

I don't need to remember it all.

It's on there.

I can check it.

I can tick it off as it goes along.

It's that.

And that's the big thing for me that makes a difference.

I don't need to try and remember it anymore.

It's on there.

A smoother tenant experience

The tenants appear to love it at the moment.

I'm hoping it's not just the novelty, but at the moment it's like, oh, I can do this and oh, I can do that.

Maintenance team like it, I think, because it's a modern version for Post-it note.

It's the little list that they need to work through.

Again, they don't have to try and remember their jobs.

They can check, it's there, tick them off as they're gone and they like that.

“Simply give it a try”

Simple, give it a try.

What have you got to lose?

It's made a massive difference and I didn't believe it.

I was dragged into it kicking and screaming but it has made a difference.

It's taken my workload, massive, massive difference to it.

It's reduced it hugely.

And I do, I like being able to check it from my phone.

Was there anything new come up?

Do I need to nag anyone?

It's just made a difference.
