A lease that lapses without anyone noticing is the expensive kind of admin failure. The lifecycle board makes end dates visible and chases them for you.

The renewal pipeline

Lifecycle lists every tenancy with its end date, notice period and status.

Filter by how far out the end date is: Any end date, or ending within 3, 6 or 12 months. Three months is the working view for most operators — far enough out to have the conversation, close enough to be real.

Default order puts the list back to its normal sort after you have been filtering.

Reminders

Reminders fire ahead of the end date and the notice deadline, to the people you nominate. The notice deadline usually matters more than the end date — miss it and the term rolls whether you meant it to or not.

Renewal types

  • Fixed term — a new end date
  • Auto-Renew Rolling (month-to-month) — continues until either side gives notice
  • Notice given — the clock is running to a known exit

Renewing

Renew from the tenancy record and WorkHub builds the new contract from the same templates with the updated term and rent. It goes out for signature the same way, including the witness step if your templates require one.

Move-out

When a tenancy ends:

  • Check the key register and get everything back before the deposit is returned — the tenancy record shows what is still out
  • Settle outstanding invoices
  • Close or reassign any open tickets against that tenant
  • Record the deposit return

Do this from the tenancy record so the history stays in one place.
